Edward Gilson, Jr. has been a Pennsylvania lawyer since 1977. Ed graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 1974 with his major in international relations. He received his juris doctorate from Villanova University School of Law in 1977.
Ed began his legal career working with his father, the late Edward J. Gilson, Sr., in Center City, Philadelphia. Ed took over the practice as a sole practitioner after Mr. Gilson, Sr.’s death in 1986. Following in his father’s footsteps, Ed specialized in estate planning, as well as focusing on probate matters, taxation, and orphans’ court litigation. As business grew, in 1992 Ed moved his law practice to northeast Philadelphia.
In 2016, the Law Office of Edward J. Gilson, Jr. moved to Trevose, PA. Ed Gilson’s new office is now conveniently located near many major access points, including the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-95/I-295, Route 1, and Street Road.
Ed is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association. He has previously been invited to speak on the subject of estate planning at local police, paralegal, and attorney organizations.
